This proves that a cassette recorded decades ago can sound very good Backing up newly purchased records on tape is a good habit that I've kept throughout my life. It's no secret that, with a proper cassette deck, you can get near identical sounding copies. Recorded in 1995, this TDK SA 60 is a case in point. The recorder was this very same Nakamichi DR3 deck, which I'd purchased new in the early nineties. Dolby B was used. The source was vinyl (you can tell by the 'needle drop' at the beginning) but I'm not certain about the rest of the components used...if memory serves me well, at that time I had 3 turntables and a couple of preamps, so who knows. I can't remember, what do you want? It's been 25 years since I made this cassette! I hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed making it Francisco
Who doesn't like a little Depeche Mode, did you hear New Order's new song? I guess they were bored and made one new song and just released it.
Excellent video as always, Francisco! I didn’t had a good equipment back in the 80s or 90s other than my beloved high end boombox, but it couldn’t compare even with a decent 2-head deck. So my recordings from back then are just ok but nothing remarkable.
