Hi, I’ve been a fan of film for awhile and a fan of Neon Genesis Evangelion for even longer. Those two passions led me to get a DAT walkman as I really appreaciate mechanical stuff, but I also like good quality sound (I wasn’t convinced by my few old school tape players). So, my girlfriend got me a Sony TCD D8 ! Only issue it seems, is that it lowers the volume without me asking. I’ll post in the tech talk to ask my question I guess. And going forward, this will probably not be my last issue with my player, nor will it be my last player. So nice to meet everyone and have a merry christmas !
