I guess someone won a D-311? So Sony was looking for the lowest serial D-5 to see who jumped and bought one first. But what is not clear is if Sony wanted this low serial D-5 back? Or did the winner get to keep it and also have a D-311 sent out? Okay that's just my quirky way of looking at the contest. It's as though Sony were desperately trying to find the first units because they accidentally contain some Plutonium or deadly meteorite dust
