The mini-me is probably huge, the Diablo is distorting the image. JVC was mythical back in the late 70's when the little one came out, it was kind of a mash-up of transistor radio and cheap mono cassette player but made for beach duty.
No, it is Not Huge, but not your "mini" either! It took me a few months to figure how to fix its cassette mechanism, but today (finally!) it is by my side for "beer'n'boomboxes" moment Will post resto efforts shortly...
Very nice, it looks great. I was thinking about the blemish, did you see any of the threads with the pliable plastics, they might work nicely.
