Hey, I joined to dive into the depths of the stereo 2 go forum. Have been lurking for a while now. Walkmans have brought me here but am looking into the boom box side of things aswell. Current walkman collection D3 Dd33 F5 Ex670 Ex2091 Id love a dc2, thats next up if anyone has one for sale! But im mainly looking for some belt information for a Panasonic rx-dt707 cobra top boombox at the moment. Ill be picking one up soon and the both decks dont work. Hoping its just belts. Cheers!
Welcome WVLax30, your box is newer than I'm used to but hifiengine.com has the manuals for download and they should have the belt sizes. Most of this old equipment was built pretty good so it might be the belts or something easier. https://www.hifiengine.com/manual_library/panasonic/rx-dt707.shtml
Thanks for the link to the manual, hadnt even thought to look on there! Couldn't find the belt sizes though. Atleast i can tear into it with some confidence now!
