Hi all, thanks a lot for allowing me to join your forum. I am more of a general electronics enthusiast and try to get my hands dirty with stuff, most recently of which are Walkmans. I have been cleaning boards and contacts, replacing belts and the like for quite some time now with no end in sight (well maybe money might be an issue...)
I really look forward to talking with you all, I intend to be VERY active in the tech talk forum :nwink:
Hope you all have a great week!

    Kindest Regards,
    Stereomecha99

Welcome aboard, it's always nice to see members with experience. I like to crack them open myself but I always seem to get the ones that require surgery just to change the belt, then when you all taken apart you realize it's a different size belt than the one you have.

Haha you can always spring for the belts specifically made for models, bit more expensive but probably worth it. I'm having a bit of trouble with a WM 36 unit right now and I've posted a thread about it too, would appreciate any help.

    Kindest Regards,
