Hi all, thanks a lot for allowing me to join your forum. I am more of a general electronics enthusiast and try to get my hands dirty with stuff, most recently of which are Walkmans. I have been cleaning boards and contacts, replacing belts and the like for quite some time now with no end in sight (well maybe money might be an issue...) Welcome aboard, it's always nice to see members with experience. I like to crack them open myself but I always seem to get the ones that require surgery just to change the belt, then when you all taken apart you realize it's a different size belt than the one you have.
Haha you can always spring for the belts specifically made for models, bit more expensive but probably worth it. I'm having a bit of trouble with a WM 36 unit right now and I've posted a thread about it too, would appreciate any help. Kindest Regards,
