Just a brief note of introduction. i have been lucky enough to enjoy a long life associated with audio and music, starting in my teen years with LPs and reel-to-reel tapes and leading to years working for Dolby Labs in SF and B&W in the UK. Throughout all this time and seeing formats and technologies come and go, I’ve arrived at one conclusion, “Stereo done right is pretty darn hard to beat.” Best, Martin Lindsay
Wow, cool career, I had a short job working with tape cassettes; compact, 8mm, 4mm, VHS, Beta, etc. I used to have a lot of fun in the lab mostly documenting head wear and dirt accumulation. Our biggest product was head cleaning tapes for Best Buy, 3M and some other private labeled companies.
