Hi! I'm Carlton, but I liked to be called Carl for short. I'm planning on starting a dead format label to bring something new to the table for people who want physicals of their music. Im going around looking for decks like for 8-Track, Microcassette, DCC, Minidisk, and DAT. I hope to meet more of you guys in the future and perhaps have the opportunity to sell some of my physicals to you!

Sounds like a fun endeavor but finding blank media might be a challange.

That sounds good. Some people are already publishing cassettes but DCC and Minidisc are still very rare. Techmoan has reviewed some in his channel.
For microcassette there’s a very good deck from Sharp that I have. Techmoan also reviewed it.
Please keep us updated. And good luck with that!

With 8 track you do always have the option of recording over old cartridges, which is apparently what other labels are doing.
Personally I would always prefer a CD, says the person who bought Kylie's "Golden" on cassette despite already having the CD :scratch2
I have to admit I haven't opened the cassette yet though.
