Hi! I'm Carlton, but I liked to be called Carl for short. I'm planning on starting a dead format label to bring something new to the table for people who want physicals of their music. Im going around looking for decks like for 8-Track, Microcassette, DCC, Minidisk, and DAT. I hope to meet more of you guys in the future and perhaps have the opportunity to sell some of my physicals to you!
That sounds good. Some people are already publishing cassettes but DCC and Minidisc are still very rare. Techmoan has reviewed some in his channel. For microcassette there’s a very good deck from Sharp that I have. Techmoan also reviewed it. Please keep us updated. And good luck with that!
With 8 track you do always have the option of recording over old cartridges, which is apparently what other labels are doing. Personally I would always prefer a CD, says the person who bought Kylie's "Golden" on cassette despite already having the CD I have to admit I haven't opened the cassette yet though.
