    …that‘s a serious question :hmmm

well, this is a forum for enthusiasts of vintage portable stereo audio-crap, mainly cassette-fired - just to give you a bit of a clue…

    welcome anyway

Most people start with description of why they have decided to join the forum.
Whether you are trying to work out what shoebox cassette recorder you had as a kid, or have the worlds largest collection of sealed metal tapes (which one member seemed to have) you are welcome.

We love photos so posting ones of anything music playback related would be interesting, although doubt if the latest iPhone or Samsung would impress anyone. A "Walkman"phone or the latest and greatest in Bluetooth speakers might.

Wow, that boombox is going to be cool! If I had more time I'd be out in my shopping building neat stuff like that but lately, since my tractors and cars are vintage, I spend more time doing maintenance. Who doesn't love changing leaking hydraulic hoses with 3 mm of space to move the wrenches? Looks like your into mechanical, electrical and software solutions, perfect for cassette deck lovers!

If your not on www.garagejournal.com you should post your parts sorter, that thing is really nice, I'm assuming you built that?

You should patent the design before someone like B&O does.

Love the way it starts up with the woofers saying, "I'm ready!".
