    hello,

sorry to disturb. i recently got my hands on a sony walkman wm-d6 (not c).

however it has issues: when i click play it basically does nothing or “skips”, meaning it basically jumps inside (i can hear it). ff and rew kind of work but also with this skipping behaviour.

i tried with both AA batteries and the original sony adaptor but nothing.

might it the the belt? or the motor?

    thank you!

Grüezi! (Hello!) First suspect is indeed a belt. There are also idler rubbers which can become hard and slippery.
More serious is the possibility that one of the plastic parts which engage when you press play are broken.
Might be advisable if you aren't up to it to look for yourselfs what's the issue to contact DEB64 in england or a swiss walkman repair service

Das chünnti aber tüür wärde. (Could be pretty dear though)
