A little helping Hand for cutting Cassette Tapes. Materials: Hardwood, Clothespins (usually used for sewing, don´t know the right name), a bit of brass and a stripe of a cleaning rag Just holds the Tape in place while cutting and taping it. Along the Tape is a little groove to guide the scalpel. For taping it, i just used TESA crystal clear (Scotch tape) wich has a thickness of 55 µm.... I could not find anything thinner than this at my Hometown.
very nicely made wood block!! and clamps with brass holding jaws!... i have a machined block but had not discovered how to hold the tape, I will try this clothespin idea! Thanks! mike in SC
