Heres a tdk HX-S, so I think this was the best crome tape that tdk ever made. Don't quote me on that. How ever I do know that this is one of tdk more rarer tapes. More rarer than a tdk od (1982 release) but not as rarer as tdk sa-x demo tape. Update: just looked up the listings on ebay to see if there were any HX-S for sale and well, there not as rarer as I thought. How ever there are crazy expensive.
I grabbed a ten pack of HX-S C-60s many years ago (early 2000s), and I must say those are mighty fine cassettes. Great for mobile playbacks for sure...... Cheers, Bleusy
