Hello, My name is Seamus and I'm from Vermont, US. I assume I'm on the younger side(16) of people on this forum, so unlike most of you, I didn't grow up with cassettes. I recently got into them when I discovered my mom's old Walkman WM-EX122 a few months back. I find them interesting, I've been having some troubles with one walkman (same model) that I got as a gift for a friend. I assume the belt just needs to be replaced, it seems very stretched out. Either that or it needs a new greasing. I'm excited to see that this is an active forum, and hopefully, I'll be able to get help here in the future. Thanks!
Welcome moose! When I was your age this stuff was all brand new and super cool. Feel free to post photos of any of your projects for help, working on the old equipment is 1/2 the fun, most just need a belt and cleaning.
