welcome to S2G forum What part of California are you from? Your walkman is a valuable unit. Is it used or you kept it new? Place some pictures of your walkman and I will tell you the value of your walkman. I am sure other members can comment about your boombox but picture always help to better help
Welcome, those are both great units and worth preserving. Value is a really hard thing to determine with vintage units since there's so many different factors involved. Feel free to post photos to get a better evaluation of them since any sort of belting, wear or electronics repair work can easily bring down the value by 1/2. The only way to get the true value is to put them up for sale and even that is never consistent, I favor a small group of units and some days I pay and some days they seem to be giving them away.
