Hi, I used to service Walkmans when I was a kid (started an intership at a small basement shop when I was 13). Mostly we did headphone-resolderings, headphone cable and/or diaphragm replacements, and belt replacements, but occasionally an IC or two). After learning how to fix stuff there I went on to tour with bands and work in recording studios (where stuff was much larger and generally more servicable ). Now I make animated films and work as a PhD student. Thanks for letting me in the forum. PS I've got two TPS-L2, #180 415, and # 264 498 (I'm curious, at what # did they stop calling the headphone jacks "guys and dolls"? And how many types of plastic/fake-leather cases were there?) All of the above work. However, I would be looking for a spare speaker to the MDR-51 headphones and a battery lid to the SHARP JC-AVI though...
