Hey there Ok so I have a TC-50 that looks to be in good cosmetic condition and seems to make whirling noises when powered up although the tapes don't move around inside which is what I expected. I am hoping to get this up and running but not expecting the moon (I'm sorry). I was wondering how I get access to the bands to change them out as I took the case off and couldn't work out how to get any fuurther. Best Scott
If you watched the Techmoan episode he briefly shows you how to do it but I don’t know if that will be any help. He mentions that a TC 50 is packed like a sandwich so any belt change is going to be a difficult task.
