I thought this might be also interesting for others with a device using the Philips SER1 mechanism. As far as I have seen this type was only for a very short period of time on the market and got only used by a couple of tape decks. Makes it hard to find any donors (Philips 70FC156 and equivalents). No idea why, because I think it is a very good and fast auto-reverse mechanism. Unfortunately, I was able to find the service manual, but in the meantime I possible disassembled it a hundred times - you can wake me up in the middle of the night and I can disassemble and put it back together. To replace the belt is quite easy. Bought several at eBay and they fit perfectly. Enjoy...
