There's a lot of great articles about soldering over on archive.org https://archive.org/search.php?query=soldering&sin=TXT You might be able to find more but their search engine stinks, you should use google to search on it. I've found some nicer equipment and patience works best. If you haven't watched any My Mate Vince Videos, check those out, the guys commentating have helped him get really good at it.
