    ...what would it look like?

    What would be the features?

Personally, as of right now, my kinda dream box would be some kind of a bigger C-100f, with Discolite features, chrome, and a TRC-975 Super Jumbo vibe, lots of equalizers, knobs and buttons, pretty heavy, loud, and with a crisp and cristal sound...

Oh, and it would have to be vintage, of course...

    Nothing complicated, y'know

    And you?

(I made a search on the site and didn't find this subject - sorry if it is redundant - I'll gladly go to the original message if it is and delete this)

Having sought out a Sharp VZ2500 which I will restore one day I think it is shame there was little overlap of formats. Was there ever any box that did more than two formats ? We seemed to go from Cassette &Vinyl to Cassette & CD. Lets have all three. Except for the bottom of the range ones most stack stereos were doing all three of those by the 1990s. MiniDisc was small so lets add that. Throw in an 8 Track and you have just about every significant format covered.

I don't really have a dream box, maybe that's why I have so many, I can't settle on one set of features. Something that might be neat would be a reel to reel boombox!

A Panasonic RX-A5 built as one unit instead of 3 separate pieces.
I would also like to see a Conion TC999 with a metal faceplate covering the entire front case, not just the center part of it.
