I don't know anything about ITT except they followed some of the other European Audio Manufacturers with amazing design. HiFi Archive has been uploading his catalogs to archive.org, here's some of the equipment I've been drooling over.

The full catalog is here, check out the other wonderful catalogs in his collection.

From 1977, the Touring Cassette 108, this looks amazing in red and maybe the first boombox that isn't silver or black. Multi-band radios always make the units looks much nicer and check out the tiny tuning meter. The other version aren't nearly as dynamic.

From 1974, here's three models including the luscious ITT RC 2000, autoreverser probably has a closet full of these?

From 1973, the little radio-recorder could be considered some of the first mini-boomboxes.

From 1975, the RC 2000 seems to be their bread and butter. I thought some of these were mini's but they look huge next to people.

It's nicer than some all (simulated) wood-grain audio since they blend it with metal. I'm still on the fence with the horizontal recorders. We need a thread with the "wood-grain" models, there can't be very many.

A question I have asked before is whether there was ever a Woodgrain Stereo Boombox ?
Woodgrain was very popular in the 1970s; even the Atari 2600 had it, but seemed to go out of fashion at the start of the 80s.

Thanks, That must have taken you a long time.
The Marantz has the Woodgrain look I was thinking of but it looks like a Mono with a couple of additional speakers.
All of the others look like normal boxes with a bit of wood trim stuck on the sides, not even visible in some of the photos.
Not quite the same as the artificial woodgrain speaker grills some of the ITTs, my Amerex AC107, and many 1970s radios and music centres have.

p.s. I wonder if you are aware of Youtuber LGRs obsession with Woodgrain ?
He made himself a Woodgrain PC, another product that probably never existed in real life,
Although the London Science Museum have an Apple 1, which the original owner put in a handmade wooden case.

Great list Reli, I knew two of those but it gets hard to remember all of them.

Funny how many stereo components came with woodgrain, I'm looking over my shoulder, three turntables, one R2R, one reciever, the rest is from the 80's, oh man I have to clean my office.

It actually didn't take any time at all, I just clicked the "woodtrim" hashtag at the bottom of the Wiki, and those listings appeared.
I was not aware of LGR videos, but I'll look into it now

Most are old computer related, but if you try "LGR Thrifts" he goes around Goodwill stores admiring all sorts of retro stuff and occasionally buying something.

That RC 2000 reminds me of my first radio. The Gold Star RQ747.

I didn't post the radio sections of some of these catalogs but it wouldn't surprise me if that was an AKA (also known as) and Gold Star made all of them.

For anyone wondering what happened to ITT there is a bit of a clue here

I think this was from before those wireless telephone things becoming popular.

Found some more gems, the ITT SL Series from 1981, this was the time when several of the manufacturers were putting out "flat" decks, it's pretty rare to see stereo models, most were more like dictation machines.
