    I spy a JVC! How do you like them, I've got a few around here, always loved the build quality and mine sound just fine around the house/shop.

    Thanks! I am pleased you noticed it. And this is not any ol' JVC. This is considered by many the BEST JVC ever made. Legendary. It is the famed JVC KD-A8 and it makes one incredible tape. Sure, it's only a two-head model, but who cares? I can make a recording that is the equal of the very best.

    Mine are mid-level thrift store/garage sale finds but they are still workhorses. Back in the early 80's, my friends with money had the first generation logic controlled decks, the only ones I remember seeing were JVC, they must have sold a ton of them.
