Hello Everyone, I will post a photo of the back that is the worst area of the radio it got some minor heat damage .
I guess you got the date from Radio Museum which does add a question mark and is completely wrong. Just looking at the style of the Sony logo and the case I was thinking it looked older. Feeding the correct model number TFM-7350W into Google I found this listing for a service manual https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SONY-TFM...-SERVICE-MANUAL-SCHEMATIC-M157x-/142960319324 Look at the bottom of the back page and it is copyright 1973 which sounds far more plausible given the style of the radio. Look at this catalogue http://www.hifi-archiv.info/Sony/1984-Audio/17.jpg and you can see how the style of Sony radios had changed by 1984
i felt like I had already seen her somewhere .... and the same model although here and called TFM-7210L... the catalogue and 1975-76
I tried looking for a European Catalogue on HiFi Archiv but all their early catalogues were for HiFi separates. I was also going to comment that you would never see a Radio with "Weather Band" in Europe. In contrast a Radio without Longwave (which the one in your catalogue appears to have) would be a cheap import. The shipping forecast, giving detailed weather information for UK coastal water is still broadcast four times a day on Longwave, which reaches well into the Atlantic. https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weathe...r shipping are,1754 (normally long wave only) p.s. I think the L at the end of any Sony Radio model number indicates Longwave.
Hello Longman, thank you for the info and if I would just looked at my Sony service manuals I am sure i have the factory manual some where . Sincerely Rich
