Hi im julian, nice to meet you all,
Im. Wondering if anyone has any experience fixing issues on this particular boombox the National Rx C 300, also known as the Panasonic RX-C300
, few days ago i managed to find a National RX-C300 at a garage sale in near new condition, it works but doesn't sound to flash, i took it apart tonight hit it with deoxit and it does sound much better however the left channel is very weak, also the switch for the spectrum analyzer doesn't stay on unless u hold it, i took ot apart and not sure if its repairable or i need to source a new switch, any advice on where to start to get the left channel working and the analyzer switch repaired or replaced would be greatly appreciated, cheers in advance

Wow, that's a very nice model that's not too common. I see Cassette2go has some input in another thread and he's probably one of a handful of members that has this box. I hate to say it but you may have peaked early, one of my first finds was a monster Marantz Reciever a couple decades ago and it's been all downhill since.....
