It's Real, this is interesting with a bluetooth "cassette tape" and it also plays normal cassettes. https://www.ebay.com/itm/235110403159?
Reviving the name of a long-gone North American car maker. Studebaker boom boxes add USB, light show, Bluetooth and mp3 to traditional features. https://studebakerhifi.com/collections/boomboxes
I swear this was the deck AIWA was advertising three or four years ago, anyway Leotec looks like the major manufacturer of most of the newer boomboxes we see, they have three pages of different designs. http://www.leotec.hk/en/
What would be a really neat feature for any modern boom box or cassette player would be a setting to convert and store, as an mp3 in internal memory, any song played.
I used to have a small program on my computer, strangely enough, it was called Internet Boombox. This was back in the early 2000's, it had hundreds of stations, I'd tune it to some cool obscure 80's New Wave or Punk and it would also record to MP3 (and tag it!).
I think this is just a bluetooth cassette speaker.... https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B0CTMPQ...ents&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9kZXRhaWwy&th=1
Ikea making the season jolly with it's newest portable , the vappeby looks like it might be a keeper. While one unit is mono, it has the ability to do stereo if you buy two. The speaker cover is an option and looks great on the white version. Bluetooth and 3.5mm for the Walkman Lovers. https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/vappeby-bluetooth-speaker-black-gen-3-10517371/?
I'm kind of digging these blinged out models, most vintage like this never came to the USA. https://www.blibli.com/p/goldsound-...ckupPointCode=PP-3106999&pid1=TIT-60058-01068
