New deck I picked up not to long ago (sony tc-fx4)

    Well here it is the sony tc-fx4 I think it was released in 1981. I will admit it is a vary sophisticated deck for the time and for the build quality. Now in the photo's the deck looks pretty mid range but the back caseing is made of plastic and same can be said about the inside of the deck to. How ever I will admit waltzed they cheaped on some things they make up for others.

    Like the flywheel for the capstan

    I know it was the early 80s but the flywheel looks like it came from a 70s deck more then anthing. I mean what Im trying to say is that the flywheel is fliping huge. It is by fare one of the bigest flywheels I have ever seen in cassette deck of this class.

    Ill see if I can get a photo of it but right now im to tired so till then good night!!!

    That's kind of an oddball, I don't remember seeing two mic inputs on a front panel before.
