I am sorry if maybe this is not the correct forum, but I need help.
I have just bought a not working Olympus Pearlcorder SD. Not yet in my hands, it will be in few days.
Just payed for it only 5€ and it seems to be in good shape. The seller says that the motor works but tape doesn't run, so I think issue is the belt.
It is very difficult to find any sort of info about this recorder, so I need help about belt diameter and some tricks to tear down the device without damage it.
    I would appreciate any help.

Recorder delivered......in very very good aesthetic conditions, so I started tear down.

Not too difficult to reach the main belt. It is possible doing it only removing all screws, board and pulleys and motor cover. After this you need to remove the panel in the cassette compartment. Here there is a small belt. Remove it to free the main pulley under. When the main pulley is free to move, simply raise it a little and from there you should be able to put the new belt on.
Doing this I encountered an issue. A plastic pulley, maybe a tensioner, came out the case....and despite having photographed all the steps I still can't understand where it should be placed.
Other possible issues, are the spare belts. I roughly measured the diameter of both, the main is 40mm (1,57 inch), the small one is less than 20mm (0,75 inch), so I don't know if the belts set sold on Amazon o Aliexpress contains such a little belt.

I hope this experience can be useful to others too. I attach some photos with explanation

I was just watching AvE over on YouTube, (warning you may be offended!!!), personally I think he's pretty funny. He was just talking about O-rings and you can join them with superglue, I think you can do the same with belts but you'd have to try. Cut out the excess and glue. With all the MC's sold there should be some stock around somewhere, maybe also check with DOCP
