This deck i using for a few years and no trublle noticed (maybe because its only my deck and i dont have anything to compare with), it records fine base records wery good, treble depends on tape used, i think its normal. Today i was thinkink record test tape with 3khz tone, autobias, and it recorded on rigth chanel same level as recorded on left minus 16db, tried 3 diferent tapes, rezult prety much the same. What to suspect, aligment?
Alignment normally only affects tapes made on other decks. A deck should normally play its own tapes perfectly unless part of the tape isn't going over the head at all.
