VISUAL CONDITION: PERFECT. Metal (aluminum) housing. Minimal signs of use in the form of a few practically invisible scratches. Perfectly preserved color and gloss of the housing. No cracks, breaks or chips. Perfectly preserved markings/inscriptions, not worn out. The "Panasonic" groove looks great on the housing. The inside of the Walkman (the so-called "pocket") is in factory condition. The battery compartment is clean, free of rust, moisture and other deposits. Original battery cover in perfect condition, tightly closing the battery compartment, which contains the device's serial number, fully legible. Perfectly preserved, in new condition, switches, volume knob, headphone output. Similarly, the cassette compartment opening system. Exceptionally very good visual condition of the walkman, close to new/like new, especially considering the age of the device (23 years old). Excellent workmanship and interesting design, once very modern, now referred to as retro/vintage. The speakers are in good visual condition and show minor signs of use. No cracks, breaks, chips or drastic scratches.

TECHNICAL CONDITION: PERFECT (LIKE NEW/SERVICED). Audio cassette playback is fully operational and works flawlessly. All functions, knob switches and buttons related to playback and scrolling are active. A fully functioning AUTO REVERSE system for "flipping" one side of the cassette to the other side. The sound is exceptionally strong, clean and dynamic, which can be modulated by boosting the bass/bass tones (S-XBS SUPER XTRA BASS SYSTEM). All functions of the Walkman have been thoroughly and thoroughly checked before being put up for auction. They can be used, also via the remote control, with headphones. Both the remote control and headphones have been checked and work perfectly without any interference. Thanks to the included active, stereo Panasonic Active Speaker System speakers, model: RP-SP50, you can use the player as a stationary HI-FI set. Speakers tested, fully functional, no defects. Clean and dynamic sound, characteristic of active stereo speakers (Active Speaker System). Impedance 8 Ohms.

The device has been professionally and precisely serviced. The playback drive belt was replaced with a new one, which was purchased abroad in a store that professionally selects replacement drive belts for cassette players, perfectly matched in technical terms and properties to the original one. The drive and mechanism of the Walkman were functional before replacement, but required thorough and precise maintenance and cleaning. When replacing the belts, the internal parts and components (motherboard, battery contacts, headphone output, etc.) were carefully cleaned with professional electronics preparations. A specialized cassette tape was used to clean the head and tape feed system. The relevant parts of the mechanism that required it were improved by applying specialized grease. Also a system for opening and closing the cassette compartment. Careful servicing will definitely extend the operation of your Walkman. Its cost is included in the price of a Walkman.
