Tascam 202 Mk VII Cass Deck.jpg
Basic double bay cassette deck, constructed with less than high-end components, but there is a USB input/output jack for dubbing online audio sources. Might be a good choice for newbie getting into cassette culture who wishes to buy under a limited warranty.

Gosh, mighty expensive, $500 USD. Consumer reviews are complimentary though !!!

Wondering if anyone at the forum possesses one of these brand new (not NOS) decks.

    Merci

I liked the video and review of this component. I think this deck worth much less than its actual price. You can still find a decent 3 head deck with $500.

I watched the review when VWestlife posted it. Reading through the comments most of them are along the lines of Boodokhan's comment above.
However, I presume the Tascam comes with a Guarantee and a reasonable chance of lasting quite a few years.
In contrast buying second hand equipment is nearly always a bit of an unknown. I think all the record decks I own prove that.
