I went to the National Vintage Communications Fair many years ago when it was held at the NEC in Birmingham. My impression was that all the items for sale were restored polished up to the point that they were probably better than new. A big contrast to the Amateur Radio Rally being held next door where anything more than ten years old was considered junk and relegated to the floor under the tables. A big contrast in the prices for old equipment as well though.
