It's a type one tape with no Dolby, so expect some hissssss. As you can see in the video the tape itself is a nice and shiny dark brown. BTW, the Nak CR-7 manual azimuth adjustment works fairly well, doesn't it? It's not the best sounding tape I've ever heard, but it doesn't sound bad!
