I found the Sanyo JJ P4 on classified ads for 20 euros with power supply, instructions, and battery pack, unfortunately only the LED lights up, a pity... I can't get it on, I don't know why... mine is black... 20220131_103041.jpg 20220131_103053.jpg 20220131_103056.jpg 20220131_103100.jpg 20220131_103115.jpg

IMG_7679.JPG IMG_E7168.JPG IMG_7167.JPG Very nice! It probably just needs a new belt. If you have a soldering iron it shouldn't be too hard to fix. I have a very similar model (JJP101) which I managed to fix even with my clumsy soldering skills!

@ianthepostie Quite a unique design, both mechanical and electronic. I would be curious to see a more detailed picture of the PCB, with the part numbers of the chip on the right and head preamp (bottom middle).

Just took a couple more quick pictures for you. The head preamp chip under the ribbon cable doesn't seem to have a number on it. Hope this helps!

I don't dare to go there, I'll give it back and better buy an old robust Aiwa,
for the collection, it was just a spontaneous purchase because it's rare. maybe someone would like it :)
