my headphones using for computer is still good enough, but just in case. if my phones will brake down, i'm thinking of buying a hd600. normal prices are too high for a 600, perhaps someday you've got a special sale and i will go for one. 150 euro will be a good price, just like early 00's. but which amp, not too expensive do you need to have more speed/fastness in a hd600. is upgrading cables an option, yes, which ones? best bang for buck, it doesn't have to be perfect. it's for mp3/internet use. i know how a hd 598 sounds, it's too slow and dark. i have a he60 combo, which i use for cdp's. so it will be a senn 600 which is in between. 650 is too colored and less analytical, reading the internet. 660 is too expensive for internet use.
decided to buy a massdrop hd58x jubilee=hd600 and it's 150 ohm vs 300, so, it's better for my comput. also, it's 150 usd + shipment tax etc= 195 euro i think a very good buy, unless sennheiser outlet shop has a hd600 for 150 euro...
Keep in mind massdrop doesn't cover import fee last I checked. For 150 euro you could also get beyerdynamic still 880 or 990's from Amazon.
that's why it's total=195 euro, instead of 150 usd. saw a hd 600 in the senn outlet for 216 eur. i prefer the sound of sennheiser. also like grado, but for long sessions it's the senn. more comfort in sound and fit. he has nice video's
