Hello I have a Sharp 10P-18G which I bought at a recent auction - it is in good shape and the TV and radio work. Sadly the cassette has a problem and I am pretty sure it is the drive belt (I can hear the motor working). Please can anyone describe how to do this? regards Darryl
Great catch, check out my TV on the radio thread where I use a Blonder-Tongue Unit to broadcast. I'm looking for that model but they're a little rarer around here so I don't have one but here's the service manual for a similar model, sometimes these are hit-or-miss with belts. https://elektrotanya.com/sharp_10p-28g_sm.pdf/download.html
You might get some clues here https://elektrotanya.com/sharp_10p-28g_sm.pdf/download.html Be aware that with the Elektrotanya free service it takes about a minute for the download link to appear (underneath the Recpaptcha). Avoid the advertising links
Mister X thank you very much, I looked through it and unfortunately it does not describe just what I was hoping (change cassette drive belt). hanks any way. regards Darryl
Hello and many thanks Longman. I have to keep looking it does not describe what I was looking for; but thanks anyway - Darryl
