Wow Derek marshall, thanks for posting! I don't think that one has shown up on the internet anywhere. Welcome to the world of posting photos, it sounds like you have some great material to upload. For better quality I use my scanner/printer and scan, it gives the option of PDF or other picture formats. If you have a similar machine that's the best way to do it.
I have all those sony high end boxes, that sony on the front is small but a heavy and great radio, thanks for posting
I took the liberty of making a pdf file with your posted photos .. pity that some pages or photos are blurry anyway this is the result
Thanks to both of you for that bit of history (although to me anything since the 1980s seems recent) Looking at the comparison chart I counted 30 different Walkmans. I wonder why they felt the need for so many different variations.
Autumn 1989 brochure has the prices as well. The portables brochure has no date but I think it must be about 1984 onwards. If I'm posting in the wrong place would someone please move them.
I have that ICF-A8L clock radio on page 6 of your last post. I bought in a charity shop in about 1995 and actually used it quite a few years. It is now a prime candidate for Retro-Brighting as the case has gone butter yellow. RadioMuseum claims the SRF202 on a previous page is 1986 which sounds about right given the style of the all black Walkmans. Japan seemed to get the Clock Radio in every colour of the rainbow with tunes to match https://www.sekaimon.com/s/sony icf-a10/-/all
Those are priceless! I don't remember seeing any of that before, Thanks! I also learned something, there's a SPORTS model Beta Cam, pretty cool!
Thanks Mr X. Machaneus for some reason cannot read any of your messages. It says you have responded but nothing there.
At £2600 in 2019 money I would hope so. When it was announced that our local Ice Rink was closing in 1995 I really wanted a camcorder to record there but couldn't justify the £350 price of the cheapest (Samsung). Nowadays I probably have ten cameras that would have done the job.
Another brochure from the ,I think 1980's. Again no date on brochure. If anyone knows approx' date please let me know. Unfortunately i only have a mobile phone to post photos.
