Recently i bought 14 Sony CDit II chrome tapes and i make 3 records from my vinyls before i read a thread about head dammaging. I have the slide series with blue tapes and i examined the deck heads and not shows pitting marks. My doubts is What CDit II models por series causes damage on your tape heads? Greetings!
Oh yes I did read about it on Tapeheads, but it was not conclusive. I would say if you are not having problems, carry on using them.
