Or similar models with the same spindle. Would the Playstation spring ball type be suitable for this. Or is there an exact type out there as I haven't found a site selling any. Mines got 1 broken tooth.
It is almost guaranteed that there are many, perhaps a dozen or more, models of Discman that use the same spindle platter. The difficulty is in finding the models. E-bay is your friend here. Because listings for other models have pictures and often enough the seller shows a picture of the Discman with the lid open. So we can see what kind of platter it has. So you have to Google up a list of other D-NE Discman players model numbers and systematically e-bay search them. Eventually you will find a cheap low cost "for parts broken" one that has the exact same spindle platter you need. To transplant and swap over. Something like that. (You millage may vary.
