EDIT: These Are No Longer For Sale or Trade. Looking to trade my Sony Discman players D35, D303 or D-555 for old 1970's boom boxes or a Sony WM-D6. Only interested in a few solid built-like-a-tank models from back when quality mattered. So this is a long shot I know, but maybe worth trying! Of course this invites scammers to come out of the woodwork so I am probably an idiot for trying this. I already made threads last year documenting their repairs. So here they are: Sony Discman D303 (1991) - Capacitor replace & pictures Sony D-555 (1990) Capacitor replace & pictures The D-555 has spider web cracking on the top display clear plastic. That is why I got it cheap on e-bay for $399 in late 2021. I was going to backfill the cracks and polish them out but the cracking is internal with no surface fissures. And only visible at certain low angles and not from above or with the orange backlight on. Sony D-35 Discman (1990) Capacitor replace and internals pics
