Hi, sorry this is in boom box section, but I need help. I bought a 'working' 200 disc dvd player as the title, from eBay. It was sold working, but one fault; the disc skip control not working (turned out to be damage on the PCB near that control) When the unit arrived, it has clearly been dropped in shipping. The front control panel was hanging off! I fixed the front panel, and the disc skip control. The system was the failing to load discs to the drive. Again, this was down to the unit dropped: the mech was dislodged, but i didn't spot that at first as it still was moving, just not aligned. I've stripped it and aligned it. It now loads every disc fine. It will not read any disc though. I bought a new optical pickup for it and still not reading. Original pickup, disc spins on and off, pickup is frantically trying to focus. New pickup, pickup does the same, but although the disc moves, it barely rotates less than a quarter. Any ideas what to try next? Simon
