I have the above, got it scanned as pdf if anyone wants a copy as it's too big to upload here. Anyone who has a "Sony Portable Audio Catalog - Spring 1983 (UK)" sized hole in their collection and doesn't mind covering the cost of postage, can have the actual original. Models covered are listed in the contents on page 2, of which I had :- ICF 7600D which I used all over the world and was a brilliant piece of kit. M-1PD Stereo Microcassette-Corder very competent with decent capabilities, just sold to a chap in Hungary. M50 The only Micro branded as a "Walkman" as far as I know and one that had a drop in FM tuner to boot. TCM-R2 Incredible that Sony would go to such lengths but you do need to be able to record for your M50.
I would like a copy of the pdf if possible to add to my catalogue collection I bought the ICF7600DS new in 1989. Pretty much the same radio as the ICF7600D. I am surprised how few Boomboxes there are on the index page. When I bought my CFS45L in 1981 there were several models in the range above it. There are a couple of CFS300L on Ebay at the moment and the model doesn't look to be particularly special https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-...281005?hash=item3fe2849b6d:g:ao4AAOSwGwRc95sb I suppose the ZX7 was their top of the range at that point. If you want to get individual .jpgs out of a .pdf there are two techniques I use. Open the pdf, select the page, copy it it the paste it into paint. Alternatively paperless printer lets you print anything printable to a .jpeg This is what Argos were offering in boomboxes in 1983
You have a PM. Fortunately my pdf program allows me to take snapshots to the clipboard of any part of a doc. I also didn't want to swamp the post with so many pages, especially being new around these parts.
You have some never seen before catalogs, we'd be lucky to have them swamp these threads, thanks for posting!
