At last re-United with my Sony turntable PS-X7 that I thought had gone. My ex wife found it in the loft. Everything still seems to work fine- tone arm movement etc but don't have my amplifier or speakers any more, so unable to test sound etc. Bought this back in 1978 and have not used it since about 1990. Fitted with the Sony XL45 cartridge but cannot remember the stylus number.

Wow, you babied that thing, it looks great, there's a good write up on the Vintage Knob.

I love those big 70's Sony Turntables, I've got an odd one, the PS-5011 that was made by Lenco, nice table except for little cushions that go bad on the tone arm post.

Hi Mr X. Thank you. I just wish I still had my TAF-6B amplifier and G5 speakers. Oh well. Have to try and source a amplifier with headphone socket from somewhere. No room in this new flat for speakers etc. Even the fluid filled mat and feet are still in good shape.
