Sorry posted this in Boombox section by mistake. At last re-United with my Sony PS-X7 turntable. I bought it in 1978. My ex wife found it in the loft. Last used in 1990. Still functions ok. Tone armmovements etc. No longer have my amplifier or speakers so cannot test the sound. Fitted with XL-45 CARTRIDGE but cannot remember stylus number.

Hi Longman. Interesting but I have always gone with seperates. I just need to find a reasonable amplifier with headphone out because where I am now space for speakers etc would not be possible because of space limitations. That cassette would certainly be useful though. Really miss doing some recording.

There are lots of small alternatives (although I seem to be filling all my available space buying them)

The Technics turntable I show is literally the area of an LP cover yet still dwarfs the Aiwa amp
I'm sure you could find room for some small speakers like those shown with the Aiwa.
Mine are Gale, which I picked up for a good price, complete with an Aiwa Midi system which I gave away.
However, the most famous small speakers have to be the Wharfedale Diamond

    Just 145mm wide.

My aim is to have my entire system (excluding Speakers) sat on a bookshelf on top of one of my Sony Drawer loading turntables PS-FL1 or FL3.
