Hi beautiful people I just bought a defect Sony DD22, fixed it (battery acid cleaning) and replaced the belt with a new one from fixyouraudio. Now the walkman is working great except for a minor problem with the fast forward button: Fast forwarding cannot be stopped by pressing the stop button (see attached video). The only way to stop fast forwarding is by pressing the rewind button halfway down. (The rewind/play buttons do not have that problem - when rewinding/playing, pressing the stop button works as it should) I didn't experience this problem with the old belt (but that had other far worse problems, such as the belt falling off and eating the tape), so maybe it's something related to a tighter belt (just guessing here ) Do you guys have any idea what the problem(s) could be? Any idea on how to fix it?
Sorry, i must have gotten some tabs mixed up when i posted this - i see now that i posted this in the wrong forum (Boombox & Ghettoblaster instead of Walkman). There doesn't seem to be a delete option, so can a mod move it? (or delete it)
