Hi, I'm new to Walkman repair so I'm figuring things out as I go. I got a Walkman WM-F5 to fix up for a gift for a friend. I replaced the center gear and oiled it up and got it mostly working. However, while testing, I realized when I press the REW button the gears for rewind and fast forward both activate in opposite directions when there is no tape. This leads to it stalling when a tape is inserted. Here's a video of what's happening. I'm not sure what I did to cause this so any info will be super helpful. Thanks!

Note there is a black lever that needs to go into the white plastic slider. You need to remove the plastic slider again and install it with that lever in the position marked green.

Thanks! That did fix another issue I had with the play not working every once in a while! However, the rewind is still having the same problem.
