    Hello Fellow Walkman enthausiasts,

A couple of months ago I got a like new WM-DD33 for a good price to fix up. it had the dreaded clicking sound and it did not ff and rw.
    this is what I did:
    - Replaced the Centergear and the take up gear with the famous Marian gears.
    - lost the tapehead block spring and found a suitable replacement on eBay, replaced it
    - I broke the play button but fellow forum member TooCooL4 was very generous and did send me a new one! thanks again!
    - Lubricated according to the famous DD Repair guide

Now I have a fully working great sounding solid walkman. Thanks four al your help guys!

    now there is one question.
this is my 2nd DD type unit I repaired, the first being a D3 WM professional, witch now works without issues.
but this dd33 gives a annoying whining sound when rewinding. only when I hold it a certain way it sounds fine. anyone have an idea on how to fix that?

One reason you get this issue after repairing any DD walkman with central gear is by applying pressure to "Level Assy" where the angle between gear axle and disk is changed (accidentally or unintentionally during repairing the gear crack)
