Hi, I am an owner of two WM-EX50s, and they are my only *Sony* Walkmans with disc type brushless motors. I also have a Panasonic RQ-SX52 with the same motor design. My question is - just how loud are those Sony EX-series motors supposed to be? The Panasonic is completely silent, whereas the Walkmans really buzz quite a lot. Also, there is no motor noise in the audio. It's not like the motors are dying either. They provide very stable RPMs and wow and flutter is not noticeable.
