Hi, I am working on a pair of nice WM-EX910 (one grey and one blue, love the latter), and am having an issue with the first one I looked into (didn't start the second one yet but I expect same problem as they both were sold as not functioning). I've completely serviced it (fully disassembled - except for the motor itself, cleaned everything and oiled gears axes, replaced a pinch roller which was dented, etc...) but it won't start at all. The tape/tape type detector was cleaned in alcohol and also sprayed with contact cleaner. All switches were cleaned with contact cleaner, including the S703 jog lever. When trying to turn it on, it gives absolutely no sign of life. Battery is charged, battery connectors are OK, I measure 1.268V at battery terminals on PCB, and 1.225V at DC-OUT pin. Voltage does not drop when activating jog lever to try and play - there is no current draw. Does anybody have any idea how to proceed next? Thanks! Dominique
I would put battery voltage across the motor and make sure that it actually can rotate outside of this circuit.
