Hello. I like vintage audio very much. Seven years ago, I started collecting Superscope audio stuff. In my collection are three portable radio's and two walkmans. I will show them here.

It's wild because the home components "Superscope by Marantz" are mostly a little above entry-level but the portables are a nice as anyones, some are even top-notch. Marantz put a lot into the portable cassettes but they only have a handful of really nice component cassette decks.

Those are great units Lowie, it's surprising how well the tuning is even on the smaller models.

i guess you mean „portable“ for boomboxes ?

as for walkman-type players (stereo) i only know the UNIX i got from you :scratch2:

Portables would be any portable cassettes players, Components would be your typical home stereo. Between no-hockey lockdown and you losing interest in your collection, my brain is cooking! I might be spending more time on here.

Going through my collection, I found some other Superscope portables. I guess they should also have a place in this topic.:)

The C-104 is a looker compared to the CS-200, the 1/2 oval piano keys make it look so much beefier. The CD players seem to have their own following, they tend to go for pretty good money, yours look's new.
