As the episodes have progressed, there’s loads of tapes and tape decks to fill the voice over segments. However, the same shots are used over and over so perhaps not as interesting as say the Mindhunter machine. I was interested in the way Bundy, once opened up to give his side (sides? Can’t trust a compulsive liar) grabbed hold of the toshiba above and cradled it during interviews. I can’t imagine the equivalent today.
