Great boomers, the 9998K is a classic! The Continental Edison is interesting I think it's made by Sanyo, I recently picked up it's twin.

I see OSS 117 on your shelf, classic movie! I recommend it to my friends here but it's hard to find on our local TV, wish they had made more.

Well done on keeping that Montego going, although makes your username a bit puzzling.

Are you aware of this site?
    https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/?page=1&q=Montego

    I
t shows that there are no models of Montego with more than 100 left on the road in the U.K. despite tens of thousand being sold.

Great equipment! We don't see many boomers with French Writing on them and I love the Thompson Mini, that thing is really neat with the LED dial read-out, I've never seen that style before, if you get a chance can you post a photo of the back information plate?

I see the bottle of beer, feel free to post in the beer and boombox thread, I'd love to hear about French or EU Beers, I got a really nice one from France that clocked in at a high %, expensive but delicious.

Thanks! I've been combing the Singapore Newspaper Sites but haven't seen that model, I did see some Thomson Information that I'll have to dig into more. There's some interesting plugs on it, two headphone jacks?

Nice car, I love those late 80's squarish sedans, my buddy had an Audi 5000 that we used to beat on, he bought it as a wreck and fixed it in his dad's bodyshop. All of those 80's cars had really thin metal and never lasted long, especially here in our salted-road Midwest, I never see them out in the summer.

I think the 2 headphone jacks are for adding more speakers, yeah I live in the countryside and even here 80s and 90s cars have mostly disappeared luckily they use no salt on the roads around here so the body is in really good condition it’s more rubbers bushes/pipes etc perish more quickly due to the sun, I’ve had the car around three years now and it’s been most most reliable car even outshining the wife’s passat which always seem to be broken

It was the Montego and you being based in France that gave it away!

    Nice collection by the way!

08B5287F-F7F1-491E-9A20-AC281FDDB5F4.jpeg Got myself some vintage headphones not normally my thing but they have flashing lights,

made by Golden Technica Model MD800/CD but can’t find any information about them on the internet, they have 2 jacks one 6.5mm for the headphones themselves and a small 3.5mm jack for the lights, certainly something different

Those phones are badass, I'd like to see the lights in action! Are they like output meters?

Before then it seems Radiola was a Swedish brand and part of the same group as Ericsson
    https://www.ericsson.com/en/about-us/history/products/other-products/the-golden-days-of-the-radiola

It would be interesting to know how many different brands Philips used over the years.
I can think of, Norelco, Magnavox, Marantz, Stella, Pye, and now Radiola.
I found this which gives a bit of an explanation.
    https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/showthread.php?t=9599

Of course car manufacturers have been doing the same thing for years. A schoolfriend's Mother had a Wolseley Austin 1100
